<h1>What is Improv?</h1><p>Well, Wikipedia says that it&#x27;s &#x27;the form of theatre, often comedy, in which most or all of what is performed is unplanned or unscripted: created spontaneously by the performers&#x27;.</p><p><strong>We believe</strong> that it&#x27;s not just theatre and it&#x27;s not just comedy- it&#x27;s a way of being in the world that shows you possibility.</p><p>It teaches us to say yes when so many people say no. </p><p>It invites adventure into your life and helps you to find the joy of stepping into the unknown!</p><h1></h1><h1>Who is it for? </h1><h3>Literally anyone!</h3><p>Zero performing experience is needed, these sessions are specially designed for anyone interested in improving their creativity, confidence and flexibility in a safe and fun way.</p><p>Improv classes are suitable for anybody, be they artist or administrator, carer or homemaker.</p><h1></h1><h1>What to expect?</h1><p>In these monthly drop-in sessions, you will explore some of the fundamentals of what makes improv such an addictive and enjoyable art form, not only great for creating live comedy but in developing a huge range of life skills in addition.</p><p>Through group games and exercises you’ll gain more confidence in your own spontaneity and creative ability, whilst creating hilarious group scenes and stories in the moment.</p><h1></h1><h1>How much does it cost?</h1><ul><li>We operate a Pay-What-You-Can/PWYC model. </li><li>You are welcome to pay any amount that you can afford.*</li><li>We are committed to making improv and the arts accessible to all.  In offering our workshops as pay what you can, we want to encourage those who may not traditionally engage in the arts to ‘give it a go’ by removing the financial barrier.</li></ul><h1></h1><h1>Give me more details!</h1><ul><li>2.5 hours long</li><li>All of the facilities we use are accessible and Covid-19 secure, with good ventilation and the size of class is relative to the size of the room.</li><li>Class sizes are capped at 14</li><li>Taught by Award -winning improviser, actor, comedian and local lad Jonah Fazel, with over 20 years of experience. </li></ul><h3></h3><h1>Small Print.</h1><p><em>*We aim to be as transparent with our financial model as possible. </em></p><ul><li><em>Each workshop costs approximately £175 to run, this includes venue hire, administration and facilitator fees. </em></li><li><em>The average price (across the UK) for a drop-in improv workshop  is between £15-£20 per person. </em></li><li></li></ul><p><em>There are three ticket types available; FREE, PWYC &amp; &#x27;Pay It Forward&#x27;. </em></p><ol><li><em>We encourage people to pay what they are able to, (PWYC) with zero judgement. </em></li><li><em>A Pay-It-Forward ticket. The price of this ticket is double the full cost. By choosing to purchase this ticket you are buying your own ticket at full price and also generously  donating another full price ticket on behalf of someone else. </em></li><li><em>People can also choose to claim a Free ticket should that be suitable with no questions asked.</em></li></ol><ul><li><em>We absorb Eventbrites payment processing fees, so that the amount you can afford to pay is the amount that you pay. </em></li></ul><ol><h1></h1></ol><p></p>
