We're getting hitched this summer, but our wedding is (very) small and quiet. Only 23 guests total, and most of them are family. This "hag bash" (hen + stag party) is a way of informally celebrating with our many friends and family who can't be in attendance for the actual ceremony.
In addition, people who have been attending Sunyi's book launch in the room next door, are welcome to come join the fun! Because why have two small parties, when you can have ONE BIG ROOM of chaos instead 😂
Everyone is welcome to attend both events. Just remember to rsvp twice so that we count heads accurately (link to Book Launch is here).
SCHEDULE:
- 7.00pm - Doors open (the launch party is still wrapping up in the next room)
- 7.15pm - Free pizza is served! GF/Ve options available.
- 7.30pm - BARE BRASS BAND plays a set
- 8.15pm - set finishes, break while changeover happens
- 8.30pm - Free grazing food is laid out! GF/Ve options available.
- 9.00pm - HAPPY DAGGERS plays a set
- 9.45pm - set finishes, drinks and chilling and leftover food
- 10.00pm - HAPPY DAGGERS plays a set
- 10.45pm - wrap up and goodbyes
- 11pm - Party is officially over! Venue is still open, folks are free to stay, but the room now becomes a public space.
