A lecture in memory of the late Maria Fyfe, the first-ever woman MP for Maryhill.

Glasgow Maryhill and Springburn CLP are honoured to host this special event in honour of our late comrade, Maria Fyfe.Maria was the Scottish Labour MP for Glasgow Maryhill from 1987 until 2001. She played a crucial role in delivering devolution for Scotland and did so much to deliver gender equality both inside and outside of Parliament.This lecture will be delivered by Maria&#x27;s dear friend Johann Lamont, former Leader of the Scottish Labour Party and Glasgow MSP.We would like to thank Maria&#x27;s family for their support in bringing this event together and to our friends at Maryhill Burgh Halls for hosting us.*Please note we are not charging people for this event, only asking for those who can make a small donation to assist with running costs. Any excess funds will be donated to a cause of the Fyfe familiy&#x27;s chosing.*
