🌟TA Workshop: OT Approaches for Supporting Engagement, Attention and Emotional Regulation 📅 Date: Monday 8th December, 2025 ⏰ Time: 7pmJoin us for our December TA Workshop: OT Approaches for Supporting Engagement, Attention and Emotional Regulation, a focused and inspiring session designed to give TAs, LSAs and HLTAs the confidence and tools for supporting pupils day to day.Led by Twinkl’s Occupational Therapy Educational Content Lead, Megan McDonald, this session will explore how teaching assistants can play a vital role in helping children participate, stay focused, and manage their emotions in classroom activities.In the TA Workshop, you’ll learn how to:<ul><li>Understand the link between engagement, attention and emotional regulation</li><li>Spot common barriers that affect pupils’ participation</li><li>Use simple, practical strategies to support focus and sustained attention</li><li>Apply calming tools and techniques to promote self regulation</li><li>Adapt classroom activities to enable success for all learners</li></ul>This session is ideal for teaching assistants, LSAs and HLTAs who want to strengthen their skills in creating supportive, inclusive classrooms. We aim to help you leave this session feeling more confident, equipped with practical strategies and ready to make a positive impact on pupils’ everyday learning experiences.
