The Instituto Cervantes is the official Spanish language and culture centre created by the Spanish government in 1991. The Instituto's mission is to spread the knowledge and appreciation of the Spanish universe by enabling people to engage with the language and culture of Spanish-speaking countriesworldwide. La Embajada del Perú en el Reino Unido, junto con el Instituto Cervantes presenta nueva edición del Club de Cine Peruano, un espacio dedicado a mostrar la creatividad, diversidad y el talento del cine peruano. Las dos películas del ciclo exploran la identidad, la memoria y la experiencia humana a través de poderosas narrativas. La película del lunes 3 de noviembre es: “Reinas” (2024), dirigida por Klaudia Reynicke, sigue a dos hermanas, Aurora y Lucía, mientras se preparan para dejar Lima y comenzar una nueva vida en el extranjero a principios de los años noventa. Su padre, con quien han estado distanciadas, reaparece buscando reconectar antes de su partida. Ambientada en un contexto de agitación política y social, la película retrata las complejidades de la familia, la migración y el crecimiento en tiempos inciertos.Película en castellano con subtítulos en inglés.
