A family friendly walk and introduction to bats at Beckenham Place Park with our ranger, meeting just before sunset inside the park.

Come along to Beckenham Place Park for a walk and talk about bats.The bat walk starts at 17:45 on the railway bridge near the mounded garden. (OS Grid Ref: TQ 383 710 what3words: ///along.snow.landed or see <a href="https://maps.app.goo.gl/o1wcN5hbkMy7Xj3A8" title="https://maps.app.goo.gl/o1wcN5hbkMy7Xj3A8" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">map here</a>)Our ranger will show you how to use a bat detector and take you for a stroll round the park to hopefully spot some of these fascinating creatures and give some more information about them.Please note this event wil be cancelled in poor weather as the bats will likely be sheltering.Tickets are intended for family/friend groups of up to two or three adults and four children to ensure a good spread of bat detectors. Slightly larger groups are welcome but you will need to share a detector.
