Research talk from Rachel Kuo, University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill: The Making of Collective Politics through Feminist Media

Abstract: Join us for a talk on media practices that shape collective politics. In addition to introducing different creative forms for feminist community building and political education, we will also discuss the internal processes and material conditions behind digital creation--the &#x27;back-end&#x27; of movement building and the work of making feminist politics. Bio: Dr. Rachel Kuo writes, teaches, and researches race, social movements, and digital technology. She is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Center for Information, Technology, and Public Life at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. She is a founding member and current affiliate of the Center for Critical Race and Digital Studies and also a co-founder of the Asian American Feminist Collective.
