Falkirk Community Planning Partnership

We’re launching the next phase of Community Choices –  the budgeting programme where local communities decide how Council funds are spent.

Looking for funding to get a community project off the ground? Community Choices could make it happen. 
Community Choices is a participatory budgeting scheme that gives people the chance to apply for funding to improve their local area and decide how public money is spent. 
Earlier this year the initiative helped almost sixty local clubs, community organisations and groups secure funding totalling £641,000.
Now, with applications open for the next round of funding, informal workshops have been set up to explain how Community Choices could help your project secure the vital funds it needs. 
During the sessions you’ll find out what you need to do to apply for one of the two grants available - the Small Grants scheme (for bids of up to £5k) - and how the voting system works. 
If you have an idea that will make your community fairer, healthier, more inclusive and connected, come along to one of the workshops. 
This is your chance to make a real difference in your community. 
Community Choices is run by Falkirk Council and Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership.
