Norfolk Record Office (NRO) collects and preserves unique archives relating to the history of Norfolk and makes them accessible to people all over the world.The events listed here are run from our base at The Archive Centre, Martineau Lane, Norwich.   Free parking is available at County Hall for Archive Centre users. <h3>ONLINE EVENT</h3><h2>King Edmund, who died in 869, was one of the most venerated saints of medieval England.  In this talk Frank Meeres attempts to sort out what we really know about his life and death, and how the legends about him developed over the centuries.</h2><h3>Online attendees will receive the Zoom link the day before the talk.</h3><h3>This is a hybrid event, with a small in-person audience at The Archive Centre and an online audience.
