The Poetry Brothel Hastings launch event.  A poetry performance collective for intimate, 1-2-1 and multi-media performances.

The Beacon

The Poetry Brothel Hastings is a poetry and spoken word performance collective. We do open performances, one-to-one readings and multi-sensory events. Our events are curated with hand-picked poets, musicians and burlesque artists.

Hi, online sales have now ended. Tickets will be available at the door. Show starts 7.30pm. Tkts available at the door from 6.30pm at the venue.

Our inaugural Poetry Brothel Hastings is an intimate Salon event with poetry and music celebrating returns, new beginnings and timely ends. A small cast of poets and musicians coming together as the first UK LIVE Poetry Brothel since lockdown began, bring their best, most soul-stirring works for your delectation.The Hastings launch has been initiated by performance poet Debra Watson and features Poetry Brothel London regulars: Naomi Wood, Henni Linnea and Paul Shine. Joining us are poetry powerhouses Jude Montague and Aflo the Poet. We are coming out of COVID slowly, and will not be doing our signature 1-2-1 a private readings for the event and are instead running a 40 audience member max curated event.Early bird tickets £7 General release £10 On the door: £12There is also an option to donate as a SUPPORTER. This is a no-entrance ticket option for those not coming to the event, but would still like to support it.The venue will be open from 18.30pm and a light vegetable soup dinner will be available to purchase with vegan options and the bar open for drinks.Doors to the show will open at 19:15. The Show runs from 19:30 - 21:00
