First Aid in the WorkplaceWe are happy to offer a 1 day, in-person first-aid course run by A1 Social Care Training Ltd. This will be held:Thursday 5th February9:30am-4:30pmTeddington Baptist Church17 Church RoadTeddingtonTW11 8PF This course offers an iCQ qualification and a certificate will be provided upon successful completion.The course identifies the role and responsibilities of first aiders, and details ways to minimise risk of injury. It also includes how to deliver emergency first aid at work, allowing learners to practice putting people into the recovery position, CPR, and how to recognise and treat scalds, shock, and cuts.This qualification will allow learners to assess a person’s level of consciousness and determine the status of their airway (whether it is blocked). It is a valuable qualification to have to ensure staff members and clients are safe in the workplace.Please make sure to bring your ID to this training so your certificate can be issued. Please be advised we are only able to offer a maximum of 12 places on this course, you must be working with a Ruils client to qualify. Please inform your employers, should they need support on this day, we are able to cover the cost of temporary support (up to 3 hours at £15ph). You will be reimbursed any travel costs up to £5
