Target audience: Teachers, TAs, playgroup leaders, nursery staff, childminders, school office staffWhat they will learnTo gain knowledge and confidence in dealing with a first aid incident/accident for both Adult and Child.Course Content<ul><li>Managing the scene of an emergency situation</li><li>How to report an accident</li><li>Looking after an unconscious person</li><li>How to use an AED, resuscitation, recovery position</li><li>Burns and scalds, eye injury, choking, </li><li>Seizures, head injury, fractures, control of bleeding, asthma</li><li>Anaphylactic shock, how to use an Epi pen</li><li>First Aid kits</li></ul>Everyone will receive:<ul><li>A Full Paediatric First Aid certificate</li><li>An Epi Pen certificate</li><li>An Emergency First Aid at Work certificate</li><li>An AID certificate</li></ul>Lunch will be provided
