Transition to Post-16 with an EHC Plan - Information Session
A session aimed at young people aged 16-25 with an EHC plan, and parents/carers. About the move to a new post-16 setting in September 2026.
The SIAS Team are holding an information session to support young people aged 16-25 with a EHC Plan and their parents/carers, transitioning into an education or training setting in September 2026.
By the 31st March 2026, you should receive a final EHC Plan for your transition into your new post-16 education or training provider.
This session will explain:
- What steps to take if you have concerns about the type of setting or the named settgin listed in the EHC Plan, including mediation and appeals,
- General support about the transition process,
- Dicussions about Post-16 options
The session will be held online, on Microsoft Teams on:
- Wednesday 15th April 2026 - 12:30pm - 2:00pm
