Childminder Information Session (briefing)

An information session for anyone who is interested in becoming a childminder

This informal, TEAMS session will cover what a Childminder is; professional expectations and 'Requirements' of the role; how the job can affects other people in the household; the sort of qualities and skills a person needs to work with children; and an idea about the cost of setting up your childminding business and potential income. The briefing will include an overview of the childminding training course, registration with Ofsted and a rough idea of timescales and the option of registering with a childminder agency, rather than with Ofsted.
