A guided charity walk in Hanwell for the Mayor of Ealing and his charity Home-Start EalingRAILWAYS , ROYALTY &amp; ROCK &#x27;n&#x27; ROLLLed by local historian and qualified tour guide Chris SharkeyFree to book. We will make an envelope collection for Home-Start Ealing and ask for £10 or more from waged people.Our walk starts at Hanwell Railway Station (Elizabeth Line), and goes past the home of a Royal Academy painter. Next onto Wharncliffe Viaduct, Brunel’s original masterpiece set in Brent Lodge Park, a favourite with royalty. Here we see Hanwell’s war memorial, millennium maze and popular Zoo. We also visit St Mary’s church, designed by Gilbert Scott (Albert Hall and Memorial) and a nearby thatched cottage, two of Hanwell’s oldest buildings. En route to Hanwell Broadway we discover Hanwell’s links with Hollywood and rock’n’roll.Bring your own reusable cup and face covering (unless exempt). Meet the Mayor , enjoy the company and the stories, and help a great local children&#x27;s charity this festive season
