I have never run before- can I join?

Yes, the Couch 2 5k course is the ideal way for both complete beginners and returning runners to get into running. The course builds up slowly over the 10 week period, mixing up running with walking recoveries.

Question 2

I cannot make every week- can I still join?

Accepted Answer

Yes, our Coaches will be there each week come rain or shine however if you are unable to make it due to illness/ other commitments its not a problem. We will provide all participants with details in advance of what we will be doing each week so that they can be done in your own time if needs be.

Question 3

Will I be too slow?

Accepted Answer

No- no one is ever too slow to join our c25k sessions. There will be a number of coaches each week who will be spread out throughout the group and ensure that no one gets left behind.

Question 4

Where does the course take place?

Accepted Answer

We will start each week at the back of the Littledown Centre and will run on the roads and footpaths local to the centre. There is free parking for 3 hours at the Littledown Centre.
