This workshop will provide more info about online spaces and the impacts on children and young people.

This session will be delivered online via Teams. Once you've registered, Eventbrite will capture your details. Around 2-3 days beforehand we will send you the Teams link which will enable you access to the workshop. If you're unsure, please contact Adam on info@connectfutures.org_____________________________________________________________Workshop: Misinformation, Community and Online SafetyWhat can you expect:<ul><li>You will better understand what we mean by 'mis' and 'disinformation' and the platforms where they are most likely to encounter them</li><li>You will be able to recognise symbols of hate that regularly feature in often included in fake news campaigns</li><li>You will know more about what is legal and illegal on and offline related to hate in communities</li><li>You will have some ready made questions to ask your children to learn about what they are seeing online</li><li>You will have a chance to share your concerns with skilled and trained facilitators</li></ul> Details of those who have registered may be shared with funders for monitoring purposes.
