This workshop will provide more info about online spaces and the impacts on children and young people.

Workshop: Misinformation, Community and Online Safety
What can you expect:
- You will better understand what we mean by 'mis' and 'disinformation' and the platforms where they are most likely to encounter them
- You will be able to recognise symbols of hate that regularly feature in often included in fake news campaigns
- You will know more about what is legal and illegal on and offline related to hate in communities
- You will have some ready made questions to ask your children to learn about what they are seeing online
- You will have a chance to share your concerns with skilled and trained facilitators
Details of those who have registered may be shared with funders for monitoring purposes.
