About the session:Research shows that survivors of domestic abuse are more likely to die by suicide than be murdered by their perpetrator. As professionals, it is crucial we understand the close relationship between domestic abuse and mental health. To highlight this, Staying Put are delivering this one-hour, online training.Aim: To increase your awareness around domestic abuse and mental health.Objectives:· Understanding the dynamics between domestic abuse and mental health· Developing an awareness of the impact of domestic abuse on a survivor’s mental health· Gaining knowledge of the Suicide Timeline by Jane Monckton-SmithThis training is open to any professional working within the Bradford District who supports individuals or families.
