This 6 week ONLINE course starts on Mon 2nd Feb at 19:00 -during sessions we will cover areas including: Conflict, Character, Exposition, Verbatim, Form, Structure, World Building, Theatricality and giving/receiving feedback.

A graduate of the Playwright's Programme at the Liverpool Everyman, Helen has had several plays produced including, 'The Brink' and 'Gun Metal Blue', which won the Blink. Theatre Award for New Writing in 2017. Her most recent play, 'Buckled' toured to venues in the Northwest in March 2025. Alongside her writing for stage , Helen works freelance for several organisations including Writing on the Wall and the Liverpool Everyman, where she facilitates writing and drama workshops with specific communities. Helen is a recent recipient of Arts Council England DYCP funding.

Helen Jeffery is a writer, performer, poet & creative facilitator from Merseyside. She formed 'Sober Scribbles' in 2024 as a safe and supportive community for sober and sober-curious writers to come together, create and share work in alcohol free spaces.
