We aim to encourage and empower churches, schools, workers and volunteers to build intentional and relational connections that grow their involvement, provision and discipleship opportunities for children, young people and their families.

One Big Day is a day to come together to be refreshed and renewed in your ministry to children, young people and families.Inspired by the biblical account of Nehemiah, we will be exploring how through shared endeavour we can be Christ-centred and bold in our discipleship and mission to children, young people and families through:• Missional Vision• Hope-filled leaders• Communities of disciples• Growing younger and more diverseWe hope delegates will be inspired to reflect on their own context and practice; responding to the call of where Christ is leading them and being practically equipped.The day will include:• Keynotes from Sammy Jordan, Director of The Hive Network.• Eight seminar sessions on a range of topics. From Generation to Generation: Putting discipleship of children and young people at the heart of your church.With Revd Jonathan Richardson, Children Youth and Families Development Officer at the Diocese of Norwich.This seminar, particularly aimed at those in leadership roles, will be unpacking what it means to prioritise investment in children, young people and families within churches; managing transitions between age groups and having a Kingdom perspective which promotes spiritual flourishing in young people - wherever that may be. Who’s outside the door? Connecting missionally in communities.With Matt Farley, Mission Enabler East Anglia for <a href="https://content.scriptureunion.org.uk/central-england" title="https://content.scriptureunion.org.uk/central-england" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Scripture Union</a>.This seminar will explore how you can engage with children and young people who are not turning up at church on Sunday. Come and explore the opportunities to share the hope and message of Jesus and start journeying with those in your community who may never have set foot in a church building before. H. Crossing the divide: understanding the current context for working with GenZ and Gen Alpha.With Becky May, Children, Youth &amp; Families Mission Lead at <a href="https://ruralmissions.org.uk/" title="https://ruralmissions.org.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Rural Missions</a>.This seminar will be unpacking some of the headlines from recent research about young people and applying what this means for understanding young people today, how we can be relevant in our ministry with young people and how we can work well in a variety of different contexts.
