Get Hooked: Gorgeous Wall Hanging Granny Square

Join us for a fun-filled workshop of learning how to crochet granny squares into a colourful and funky wall hanging decoration.

So, you’ve already mastered the basics of crochet and you’re ready to progress onto the wonderful world of granny squares! There’ll be plenty of colourful yarn to choose from and we’ll work through a basic pattern initially so that you’ll feel full of confidence to tackle your own project.

This is the perfect next step crochet workshop after attending the Learn to Crochet session. Louise will show you how to master the infamous magic ring, work in rounds rather than rounds and become familiar with the treble stitch as well as understand the process and benefits of blocking.

Louise will provide everything you need for this workshop, however, feel free to bring your own hooks if you have a favourite one to use.

We'll be making a really funky wall hanging showing the diverstity of projects that can be produced using a single Granny Square. Louise will have other samples of items that can be created using this technique to help inspire you to go on and master other fabulous items.

The workshop space is fabulously light, relaxing, and the space is designed to help you unwind, meet fellow crafters, share tips, and enjoy a creative experience in a supportive and inspiring setting.
