Winter Tree Tour in Victoria Park

Meeting inside Victoria Park main gates, London Road (near Granville Road).
Finishing on the University of Leicester campas (library cafe), adjacent to the park.
Around 1.3 miles with information stops along the way.
Up to 90 minutes, steady pace.
Optional cafe stop after walk - allow extra time if you wish to join in.

Join us for a guided walk through Victoria Park, presented by the volunteer Tree Wardens. This seasonal stroll takes in selected trees and explores the theme of trees in winter. The Tree Wardens will provide interesting snippets of information to enjoy, as you wander around this beautiful green space. Our route will mostly be on firm paths, but to gather beneath the trees it will include some soft (unsurfaced) ground, which may be muddy after rain - please wear appropriate footwear. This short walk is ideal for new attendees. Free to attend but places must be booked. Booking opens 1 January 2026.

This walk is a collaboration between the Leicester Tree Wardens and the Choose How You Move project.
