Online event

Overview

This webinar will explore a recently published LCSPR and guidance for practitioners on coercive control and domestic abuse.

The event will begin with an overview of the case and key learning by the Lead Reviewer. This will be followed by a session on how coercive control and domestic abuse prevents survivors from disclosing their experiences to professionals and good practice for working with those experiencing domestic abuse led by the Head of Service for Domestic Abuse and Interpersonal Violence at Birmingham Children's Trust.

During the session we will share resources and support available for practitioners working with children and families in the city. Following both presentations, there will be a Q&A session to give attendees the opportunity to ask questions to panel of safeguarding leaders.

All practitioners working with children in Birmingham are welcome to join - sign up to secure your place.
