Join us at Parc y Scarlets for a weekend of exciting and engaging workshops, keynote speakers and presentations, with collaboration from inspiring medical professionals from across the country.
This event will feature:
· Expert speakers: Hear from leading clinicians and healthcare professionals from across the country from different specialties and background.
· Oral presentations: Learn from innovative research, quality improvement and case studies presented by our peers.
· Poster exhibition: Explore the latest projects and clinical insights from resident doctors and medical trainees.
· Networking opportunities: Connect with colleagues, mentors and partner organisations in an inspiring setting.
· Workshops: Engaging and interactive workshops to support your professional journey.

Submissions are welcome from any specialty or clinical field.
Abstract Format and Length
· Abstracts should be no more than 300 words
· Submissions should be concise, clear, and structured
· Suggested headings (where appropriate):
o Background
o Aim/Objectives
o Methods
o Results
o Conclusion
Presentation Format
· All accepted abstracts will be presented as poster presentations
· A selected number of abstracts will be shortlisted for oral presentation
· Authors selected for oral presentation will be contacted in advance and may choose whether to accept this opportunity
· We would encourage you to print your posters in A1 format
Please note that oral presentations are typically associated with higher scoring in specialty training applications, and selection will be based on abstract quality and relevance by our panel consisting of Consultants and GPs. Prizes for best poster and oral presentations will be awarded to a select few exceptional candidates.
Conference Status The DRAIG Conference is open to delegates across all of Wales and will be recognised as a national-level conference, which may support portfolio evidence for future training applications.
We strongly encourage you to submit your work and take advantage of this opportunity to showcase your achievements, gain preour abstract clearly describes your role and contribution to the work.
Submission deadline: March 31st 2026
One of the submitting authors will have to purchase a ticket in order to present at the conference.
We will be hosting an optional formal event on the evening of Saturday the 20th June, which will include a 3-course sit down meal and entertainment. This will be available to conference ticket holders for an additional charge. Please select tickets for the evening event as an add-on.
