Overview

Learn essential first aid skills for outdoor and forest settings in a hands-on, interactive workshop!

Outdoor First Aid / Forest School First Aid

We are teaming up with Really Good First Aid to provide a 16-hour Level 3 Outdoor First Course. This is an essential course for outdoor professionals, whether you're a forest school practitioner, outdoor instructor, or simply want to be prepared for emergencies in the wilderness, this course is a must.

This course will meet your qualification requirements for NCFE Sruvival Instructor, Mountain Leader, RCI, Archery GB, BCU and Forest School L3. The course will guide you through hands-on scenarios and practical exercises to ensure you feel confident and capable in any outdoor first aid situation. Don't miss this opportunity to enhance your skills and enjoy the great outdoors!

The course will be taking place outside in our woodland at Scorrier, there will be a fire and hot water available throughout for hot drinks and optional cmaping for thse wanting to stay overnight.

All ITC awarded 8-hour and 16-hour courses are delivered from the same manual. The assessments for Forest School First Aid, Outdoor First Aid, Outdoor First Aid Emergency Action and Emergency First Aid at Work +F are very similar, with courses being assessed in the same way. When attending one of these courses, it may run alongside another course – however, you will only be awarded the qualification for the course which you enrolled for. Should you require a second award or dual award, it is possible to be assessed for this at the same time.
