At AIT our aim is to achieve and maintain protection of title and the regulation of the profession by helping to raise the skill and passion of Interpreters and Translators. AIT links members with professional training courses, CPD training, networking opportunities and more. Together we can achieve protection of title by growing the awareness and skill of our passion.

Ginta, Maria and Irina, as the team organisers, will register our team and meet you at 2:00PM.Finish: The Walk concludes with a street party on Carey Street with street food vendors, fire jugglers, musicians and a complimentary drink in the Knights Templar or Law Society bars. These won't affect your experience on the day, but the wellbeing and safety of our walkers, volunteers and supporters is of the upmost importance. This year, all walkers are encouraged to donate £20 to your fundraising page as self-sponsorship to kickstart the team’s fundraising. As you may already know, the London Legal Walk is a free event, but there are considerable costs to be able to put the event on including road closures, licencing fees and the all-important post Walk drink at the street party. By donating £20 you will be covering the baseline cost of hosting the event, ensuring that even more of what you raise will go to those who most need it!We are walking with the Lady Chief Justice and thousands of lawyers to raise funds for the London Legal Support Trust (LLST). Over the last 20 years, by walking together for justice, we have raised over £10 million, helping hundreds of thousands of people access justice when they need it most. The funding gap for legal advice has nearly doubled to over £30 million in the UK and free legal advice providers are at breaking point with the growing need from their clients. Many people cannot afford legal help and without more being done, they will go without justice when they need it most. In London, 25% of people are living in poverty after housing costs. With the ongoing cost of living crisis, your support is needed more than ever. Please sponsor our walkers as generously as you are able.
