Housing Options for non-UK Rough Sleepers

A training for workers and volunteers working with homeless migrants in London.

This training will review the regulations on access to local authority housing and homelessness for non-UK nationals and look at what other options may be available for those ruled out of mainstream provision due to their immigration status.

The training will cover:

• entitlement to asylum support accommodation
• what other local authority provision may be available including s17 Children Act support and support under the Care Act
• Schedule 10 accommodation
• Provision of support by charities and faith organisations

This training is funded by the GLA and is therefore only available to those working in the Greater London area.
