A hands-on volunteering opportunity for you and your colleagues to help remove purple dew plant, which is an invasive non-native species
An opportunity for you and your colleagues to help us with invasive species removal. Purple dew plant (Disphyma crassifolium) also know as jelly bean weed is an invasive non native plants that spreads quickly and forms dense mats of vegetation. Large mats outcompete our native plant life and provide little food for pollinators who will leave an affected area in search of food.
Please bring your own refreshments.
Tools will be provided.
Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes / boots. If you have gardening gloves you are welcome to bring them with you!
