Rewild with Fire in the Brecon Beacons

The first of our summer workshops, perfect for families keen to sharpen their wilderness skills!

This hour long workshop focuses on foraging the right seasonal materials for a fabulous fire, methods of making flame (from the power of your mind to mushrooms and rubbing sticks together), tinder bundle construction, different types of fire lays and which wood is the best to burn! Tips and tricks that will make the world of difference when you next make a fire!

Takes place at Cwmffrwd Farm Campsite in the Black Mountains. Guests are welcome to park at the farm and go for a walk on the mountain afterwards, or enjoy a picnic and a play in the stunning wildflower meadows :)

All ages welcome.

Children must be aged 6+ and supervised by a participating adult.
