Introductory workshop on Universal Credit for parents and carers of children and young people with SEND in West Sussex.
During this informative workshop we will look at all the basic details about Universal Credit, the criteria and how to apply, covering the following:-
- Issues around moving to Universal Credit from other benefits
- How it is structured, allowances and elements
- How income affects this benefit
- Information for a young adult applying in their own right
There will be time at the end of the session for attendees to ask their questions, and information resources will also be provided after the workshop.
Please note this workshop is funded by Reaching Families for parents and carers of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities in West Sussex only. It is not suitable for professionals.
