Making Sense of Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
In this workshop, delivered by Lizzie Batten from Amaze, you will find out how to apply for Disability Living Allowance (DLA), how the process works, the various rates, understanding how decisions are made, tips for making a strong claim and appealing a decision. This workshop will also be useful to parents/carers who are facing completing a renewal as it will provide you with up to date information. This will be an informative session including an opportunity to ask questions about your own child and their needs.
Please note this workshop is funded by Reaching Families for parents and carers of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities in West Sussex only. It is not suitable for professionals.
Registration - In order for the trainer to have an understanding of your child/young person with additional needs and tailor the workshop, we are requesting details during booking about their age and diagnosis (if appropriate) or a description of their needs.
