OverviewJoin us for a social and supportive hybrid Wikipedia editathon celebrating International Theatre Day as part of the global Women in Red project."Women in Red" - a Wikipedia editathon celebrating the lives and contributions of all the inspiring women of Scotland and around the world missing from the world's go-to site for information. We turn Wikipedia’s “red links” into well-researched, published articles. Wikipedia is the 8th most visited website in the world but <a href="https://www.theguardian.com/careers/2019/nov/28/making-the-edit-why-we-need-more-women-in-wikipedia?CMP=Share_iOSApp_Other" title="https://www.theguardian.com/careers/2019/nov/28/making-the-edit-why-we-need-more-women-in-wikipedia?CMP=Share_iOSApp_Other" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">lacks diversity in its editors and its articles</a>. Women playwrights, actors, directors, and producers remain significantly under-represented. Many notable figures are missing entirely or only minimally documented.
