Access to the event is via Dorsington village only (despite what your navigational device may say). Please follow the Heart of England Forest event signage as you arrive into Dorsington (nearest postcode CV37 8AR).

Is the garden wheelchair and pushchair friendly?

As a private garden, there are no specific allowances for mobility aids, however the garden is mainly mown footpaths with a few slight inclines. There are slightly raised granite edging stones (about 1/2 inch high) that need to be crossed from the entrance driveway onto the garden.

Are there refreshments available?

Refreshments are available to purchase including a barbecue served by our local caterer - Big Lee's BBQ & Grill. Vegan and gluten free options are available.

Can we bring a picnic instead?

You are welcome to bring your own food however this must not be brought into the Garden. We do provide a designated mown picnic area just outside the garden or you are welcome to venture off into the surrounding woodland too. Please remember to bring a picnic blanket as there are no benches.

Are dogs allowed in the garden?

Dogs on short leads are allowed in the garden. Please remember to pick up after your pets.

Are there toilet facilities?

Yes, toilet facilities are available, including one accessible toilet.

Can we take photographs of the sculptures during our visit?

We welcome photography for personal use, to capture your visit and share on your social media channels. Commercial photography or videography is however not permitted without prior agreement.

Overview

In a garden setting, the Garden of Heroes and Villains is home to more than 50 life-size, bronze statues of iconic figures.

Join us for our first fundraising day of the 2026 season in the stunning Garden of Heroes & Villains , a private sculpture garden commissioned by our late Founder Felix Dennis, and meet some of history’s greats, immortalised in bronze.

Come face-to-face with Muhammed Ali, cross the finish line with Roger Bannister, take front row for The Beatles, join Lawrence of Arabia at full charge on camel-back or take a trip with the Owl & the Pussycat and see the pig with the ring in the end of his nose!

With activities on this open day for the whole family, including a yew hedge maze, poetry garden, woodland walks and a collection of over 50 stunning sculptures, not forgetting a top notch BBQ served by the fantastic Big Lee's BBQ & Grill, it's a unique day out in the Heart of England Forest!

Admission by pre-purchased tickets only and places are limited. Please consider choosing a charity ticket which includes a donation to help grow the Forest.
