BrightenUp London Community Day @ Holland Park
Join HandsOn London and Taskforce for Nature at Holland Park to maintain a biodiverse, healthy green space!
This is a drop-in event! You are welcome to come at whatever time suits you between 10:30 and 3pm.
Shake off the winter blues by volunteering Holland Park, as part of our ongoing conservation campaign, BrightenUp London!
Our Community Days at Holland Park, alongside Taskforce for Nature, offer an engaging, conservation focused day of volunteering for both newcomers and regulars alike.
You may be a green-fingered genius, or completley new to gardening and wanting to gain some new skills with likeminded others. Either way, volunteering with us at Holland Park is a chance to get outside and give back, all while learning more about the largest green-space in Kensington and Chelsea.
Tasks are seasonal, and therefore you may also be planting, cleaning invasive species, building dead-hedges, and more!
All of the necessary equipment will be provided and on the day you will be given training on how to use all of the tools safely. Please wear sensible footwear and clothing, with your arms and legs fully covered, and layers for warmth. In the event of light rain, activities will still go ahead. Prepare to get muddy!
We encourage you to bring along friends and family, or come by yourself and meet some new people. An exciting opportunity to engage with a strong local community and spend time in nature.
Disclaimer: Volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Due to health and safety restrictions, we may not be able to accomodate volunteers under 18 years old without at least 2 weeks notice.
