Origami Fairy Lights (ATOCY, morning)

Join Laura from L & S Crafts at A Touch of Craft Yorkshire, a craft space near Ossett, for a relaxing origami class where you will learn how to create a stunning string of origami fairy lights. Working with a wide selection of patterned and plain specialist origami papers, Laura will guide you step-by-step through the creative process. The simple origami techniques used to fold each lantern will be broken down for you, making it easy to follow along and create your own beautiful set of lights.

Throughout the workshop, you'll experience the meditative nature of origami. As you become more familiar with the design and technique, you'll find yourself relaxing into the repetition of the folds. This calming activity can be a wonderful way to unwind and let your creativity flow.

This workshop is suitable for absolute beginners and those with some previous papercraft or origami experience. All equipment and materials are provided, including a set of battery-powered fairy lights to illuminate your origami lanterns. A wide range of festive and other origami papers will be available to choose from.

Drinks are available to purchase (cash only) at the venue. There is free parking. Please note the craft room is on the first floor and only accessible via stairs.

Minimum age for participants is 18 years.
