Visibly Better Spaces & Building Sight - in partnership with RNIB Cymru

In this free lunchtime session, David Watkins, RNIB Cymru's Visibly Better Co-ordinator, will talk about RNIB’s Visibly Better Spaces and how they can help improve the independence and quality of living for older people with sight loss through staff training; applying inclusive and attractive building design and providing accessible information.

David will explain how by applying Visibly Better Spaces principles, you will also be applying national building guidance and obligatory inclusive practices as part of the Equality Act 2010; and will also cover the design principles and practical recommendations for accessible building and environments from RNIB’s recently updated ‘Building Sight’ publication.
