Share and Learn - ERA 2025 Session - Family Friendly Workplaces

Centurion HouseManchester, England
Thursday 14 May  •  9:15 - 12:45
Overview

An interactive workshop to discuss challenges, good employment practice and the upcoming Employment Rights Act 2025 changes.

FOR SUPPORTERS AND MEMBERS ONLY

Share and Learn Sessions bring together likeminded people managers to discuss employment practice, share any challenges they may be facing and hear how other organisations implement good practice. This year the Share and Learns pilot a new format and focus on the different Employment Rights Act 2025 ('ERA') changes throughout the year.

This event will look at the changes around paternity leave, bereaved partner's paternity leave and unpaid parental leave and good practice around creating 'family-friendly' workplaces.

Our colleagues at Acas will help us deliver this session and we will be confirming our employer guest speaker shortly.

Who is this event for?

This is an interactive session aimed at those with people managing roles, HR and those who can effect change within organisations . Attendees will be discussing employment practices so you must be able to talk about your organisation's own policies and processes in detail in order to attend.

Registration will initially be limited to one person per organisation due to the event capacity.

This event is exclusively for employees working at registered Supporter and Member organisations of the Good Employment Charter. (A full list of these organisations is available on our website.)

Waitlist

There will be a waitlist for this event once it reaches capacity. Places often become available so we recommend registering to join the waitlist and we will contact you if a space becomes free.

If you are allocated a place from the waitlist, you must email events@gmgoodemploymentcharter.co.uk within 3 days to accept your place. If we do not hear from you within this time, we will assume you do not wish to attend and will release your place to another person on the waitlist.

Repeat Event

We anticipate there will be a large demand for these sessions. If you would like to attend but cannot make this date, please email our Events Team (events@gmgoodemploymentcharter.co.uk), so we can understand demand for a hosting a repeat in person event.
