Overview

Find out more about Biochar as a solution to 'end of orchard life' wood and understand why LCA shines a light on packaging materials.

Commercial apple is a low emission crop but there are challenges at end of orchard life and in terms of the lifecycle carbon analysis (LCA) of the crop production. This Innovate UK funded project considered these and other challenges with actionable results for all growers. Learn more about Biochar as a solution to end of orchard life wood and understand why the LCA shines a light on packaging materials.
