Through the use of group discussion, case studies and trainer presentation, participants will have space to critically reflect on extra-familial harm andthe application of contextual safeguarding to keep spaces safe for girls and young women.
The training is CPD certified, and attendance at the whole session will result in a certificate of completion.
Learning objectives
- Increase your understanding of the Contextual Safeguarding Framework as an essential safeguarding intervention
- Increase your understanding of how contextual safeguarding has been applied in practice with young women and girls
- Develop your knowledge of the systems and values barriers to implementing a contextual approach
