Together Against the Far Right National Demonstration

Together Against the Far Right National Demonstration

Central LondonLondon, England
Saturday, Mar 28 from 8 am to 8:30 pm GMT
Overview

The Together Alliance is calling for a mass demonstration on Saturday 28 March 2026 to show how many people oppose the far right.

Stand Up To Racism (SUTR) UK and all local SUTR branches are proud to be part of a new coalition, Together Against the Far Right, with over 50+ campaigns, organisations and civil society groups, alongside thousands of everyday people. Under the umbrella of Together Against the Far Right, we are having a major national demonstration in London on Saturday, 28 March 2026.

An alliance to stop the far right is vital now.

The voices of division in our country are growing louder and more confident. For the first time we face a far right party topping the polls, and far right protests on our streets mobilising the biggest numbers they ever have.

Their false promises seize on the very real economic problems people face, in order to scapegoat migrants, Muslims, and refugees. They also falsely use a concern for women's rights and safety to promote their agenda.

But we know we can change things when we stand TOGETHER.

We know that our strength lies in solidarity. That the change we need comes from us working together for hope not despair, for unity not racism. Your support helps make that unity visible and will inspire others to speak out. TOGETHER we can shift the culture.

TOGETHER we can reject narratives of division and racism; build solidarity across communities; and unite against the far right.

It’s in this spirit that Nottingham SUTR, as part of this alliance, will be organising a return coach from Nottingham to London on the 28th of March. The coach will will pick up at 8 am sharp returning between 8 - 9 pm depending on traffic around London. Pick up location will be shared later with those who have booked a ticket.

If you are a wheelchair user or require other special access on the coach, please email us at info@nottmsutr.co.uk as soon as possible. In addition, there is a shorter march on the day for those with mobility issues so if you would like to join the shorter march, please email us for further details.

To help pay for the coach to London, we are offering tickets at £15 for waged, £5 for unwaged, and free for refugees and asylum seekers. Please email us if you want a ticket but can't afford the prices quoted. We are happy for any donation you can make, we just want you to join us. Thank you!
