This is an exclusive evening visit hosted by Paul and Lisa Chasney and their daughters, Antonia and Felicity
This is an exclusive evening visit hosted by Paul and Lisa Chasney and their daughters, Antonia and Felicity at the new vineyard, winery and the gardens at Bilton Grange and Goose Beck Vineyard. Planting for the vineyard started in 2021 and there are now approximately 15,000 vines across 13 varieties. The vineyard works on sustainable principles and 2025 has been the first significant production year.
An introductory talk in the Tasting Room will begin at 6.00pm followed by a tour of the vineyard and the winery. On return to the Tasting Room there will be a wine tasting accompanied by nibbles. There will be soft drink options for those who would prefer. There will be additional wine to purchase by the glass and canapes as usual by members of the Events Committee. This social evening will continue with a tour of the gardens of Bilton Grange with Lisa.
The gardens for the house and holiday cottages have been designed by ‘Plants by Design’, Chris and Fiona Royffe of Newton Kyme. The gardens include a ha-ha, rill, patte d’oie, rose garden, vegetable garden, an avenue of Liquidamber trees and incorporates some trees from the earlier house which stood just to the east of the current building.
