Absolutely not! Kirtan is for everyone, even if you’ve never sung mantras or meditated before. You don’t need to know or prepare anything—just come, listen, enjoy, and join in the singing if you feel like it.

Are there any age or physical limitations for participation?

Accepted Answer

No, there are no restrictions! Kirtan is an open space for everyone, regardless of age or physical abilities. You can sit, lie down, dance—whatever feels comfortable for you.

Question 3

How long does a kirtan session last?

Accepted Answer

A kirtan session usually lasts 1.5 to 2 hours. After that, we always stay for some tea, conversation, and a bit more time together in a cozy atmosphere.

Question 4

What should I bring with me?

Nothing special! The most important thing is your presence and an open heart (but even if you’re feeling low, kirtan will help lift your spirits). And feel free to bring friends—everything is better when shared!

Are there any rules or guidelines for behavior at the event?

No strict rules! We want you to feel free and comfortable. If you want to sing—sing, if you prefer to just listen—enjoy the music, if you feel like dancing—go for it! This is your space to relax, feel joy, and find inspiration.
