1st response training course - Yeovil Guide Hut

This training will cover the three modules of the First Response course:

Life support

Trauma and injury

Major illness

You must attend the complete course, and complete the mandatory First Response elearning package in the learning platform to complete this training

What will I learn?

Gain simple life-saving first aid skills that are relevant to your role. Develop the confidence and skills required to cope with emergency and first aid situations. Understand how to manage these emergencies.

What do I need to bring on :

For the face to face session please bring lunch and a travel mug, a blanket and wear clothing and shoes that you can move around in, as this assessment will require you to demonstrate your life support skills including CPR and the Recovery (Safe) position.

Proof of completion of Girl Guiding 1st Response E Learning within the past 3 months - (Go record, e mail confirmation )

Parking:

Please note, Everton Road in Yeovil is located within a permit parking area, with residential parking permits required for on-street parking. The nearest car park is Fairfield Car Park, which is a long-stay pay and display car park
