Gongbath Special Event : Deep relaxation sound meditation
This session will focus on a range of large gongs to create a varied and deeply relaxing therapeutic sonic experience.
GONGBATH SPECIAL EVENT
Take time out for yourself and immerse yourself into a deeply therapeutic sonic experience as you relax and meditate to the extraordinary sound of a range of large gongs, providing a rich and complex sonic tapestry for your enjoyment and relaxation.
This is a rare opportunity to experience a wide selection of large gongs ranging from 36 to 42 inches in size to provide a gentle and yet very powerful sonic meditation session.
I only run gongbath sessions of this size in Horsham on an occasional basis and my regular soundbath sessions are at Holbrook and Warnham. The Hall at North Heath is much larger than these other 2 wonderful venues and this enables me to bring a larger range of gongs. It is a great location and the first gongbath last year was very popular with excellent feedback.
It is a great pleasure to be able to offer another special gongbath event in Horsham.

Deep relaxation soundscapes for health and well-being
Feeling Sound - Resonance For Wellness
Sound and well-being
Its important to make time for ourselves, and to look after our wellbeing. These sessions use a range of large gongs, played in a gentle and sensitive manner to help achieve a deep sense of relaxation and meditation which can help to restore the mind and body back to equilibrium.
What to expect
You will rest comfortably on the floor and listen to the sounds. You are not expected to do anything physically active. The session is aimed at relaxation and rest. Participants normally stay awake but reach a deep dreamlike state which can be extremely therapeutic for both the mind and body.
No previous experience is needed, and all will be explained before the session.
Sound Journey
The term refers to a deeper level of relaxation and meditation using therapeutic sound. The gongs are an integral part of this experience and the way they are played in a sensitive manner also adds to the overall effect.
What to bring
Please bring a mat (yoga mat/camping mat etc), one or two blankets, a pillow, eye covering and a bottle of water.
I do have spare mats available if requested in advance.
Benefits of Sound therapy
Sound therapy can have a wide range of health benefits. It works very well as a form of preventative self care. One of the biggest benefits is stress reduction and reducing the negative impact that long term tension can have on both the mind and body.
Other benefits can include:
Promoting relaxation and well-being
Aids good sleep and reducing effects of insomnia
Improved circulation and boosting the immune system
Mindfulness and/or spiritual connection through meditation
Resting the mind, stopping overthinking
Pain relief
