OverviewJoin us at the Atkinson Gallery on Friday, 27th February, for a private showcase of our forthcoming exhibition ''Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea: 90 Years of Jazz and Surrealism''. Join us at the Atkinson Gallery for an exhilarating showcase of artworks from The Reiff Collection of British Art, where we will invite viewers to explore the relationship between Surrealism and Jazz in thought-provoking ways.There will also be an opportunity to various creative pieces by Millfield students which respond to the exhibition's theme. 7:15 - 7.45 PM – A talk from Elle Anderton in the Johnson HallAs part of the exhibition launch, The Atkinson Gallery is pleased to welcome The Reiff Collection Manager, Elle Anderton, who will offer deeper insight into the collection and how it has been curated for this exhibition. 8:00 - 9:30 PM - Private View in the Atkinson GalleryAfterwards, enjoy a private view of the exhibition in the gallery. Complimentary drinks and snacks will be provided. These events can be attended separately. If you are joining us for the talk, please make your way to the Johnson Hall after checking in at the Gatehouse. The Atkinson Gallery will open at 8.00 PM.
