Celebrate the arrival of spring with a guided foraging walk in the River Park, led by staff from the Ecology Centre. This relaxed session will introduce you to seasonal wild plants commonly found in the park, with guidance on how to identify them safely and responsibly.

After the walk, we’ll gather together to enjoy a warming cup of freshly made nettle tea, brewed on a traditional Kelly kettle—a perfect way to round off a spring afternoon outdoors.

No previous foraging experience is required, and the session is suitable for anyone curious about nature, wild food, and spending time outdoors.

This a FREE event open to all ages and is perfect for anyone who wants to get enjoy nature and a walk. The walk will take place at a relaxed pace with regular stops.
