Join us and Jersey Water for this behind-the-scenes tour of Jersey's desalination plant.

Jersey's s La Rosière Desalination Plant saw its longest run in recent history in 2025, producing over 500 million litres which is enough water to fill Grands Vaux Reservoir more than twice over.

On this beind-the-scenes tour for eco active businesses you see how the desalination plant works and hear about the energy and resources it takes to help better understand the importance of water saving.

Did you know that at full capacity the plant produces 10.8 million litres of fresh water per day and consumes 45,000 kWh of electricity per day.

This is a working, outdoor site. La Rosière Desalination Plant was built in an abandoned quarry close to the sea so dress appropriately!

We will meet at the diesel plant itself.
