Further training for Hill walking and climbing, assessment, CPD days

NOTE: You cannot do hill walking training and assessment on the same weekend. The training takes all weekend, then you have to go away and practice to return for an assessment weekend. Please DO NOT try and do training one day and assessmen the next. Thanks.This weekend is opent to adult members of the scout association who want to gain/polish their skills at Hill walking or Climbing.The cost for thios weekend is £70 (not including event brite fees), covering accomodation on Friday and saturday night, breakfast lunch and dinner on saturday and breakfast &amp; lunch on sunday. We are providing a set of modules that you can choose from, the cost is the same irrespective of the modules that you are interested in.Friday night options are:<ul><li>Night Navigation</li><li>Climbing supervisor introduction (a pre requisite for Climbing Supervisor Training &amp; Assessment )</li><li>Pre-hill walking training/assessment workshop (a pre requisite for T1/T2 Training/Assessment, you can also attend this if you would like a refresher)</li><li>Social activities</li></ul>The options for Saturday are:<ul><li>Climbing supervisor training and assessment</li><li>Scrambling</li><li>T1 Training (both saturday &amp; Sunday)</li><li>T2 Training (both saturday &amp; Sunday)</li><li>T2 Assessment (both saturday &amp; Sunday)</li></ul>The options for Sunday are:<ul><li>An introduction to outdoor climbing</li><li>T1 Training (both saturday &amp; Sunday)</li><li>T2 Training (both saturday &amp; Sunday)</li><li>T2 Assessment (both saturday &amp; Sunday)</li></ul>You can only undertake training or assessment at this weekend in the same terrain (T1 or T2) these activities cover the Friday, Saturday &amp; Sunday. If you are interested in obtaining your climbing supervisor permit you must select the workshop on Friday night as well as the activity on the Saturday.All other options are mix and match.If you want to undertake self led walking we can link you up with others interested in that activity.Please note for activities where we need to provide trainers/assessors, are ability to facilitate will depend on numbers, so we may need to contact you to discus changes.If you have any questions, please contact Ali Comline (Ali.Comline@cheshirescouts.org.uk)
