Is the Omega course religious?

No The Omega Course is not religious. It is for people of all faiths and none to peruse living consciously, caring for others and preparation for later life for ourselves.

Is talking about death and loss morbid and depressing?

Although death can be sad, being prepared for it is amazingly comforting and helps us to talk to others we love. Surprisingly we have a lot of fun and laughter on the course. It is particularly valued for the social interaction and enriching for living well.

Are the facilitators qualified?

Both facilitators on each course are qualified and experienced in either palliative care, counselling or both. This is important so people feel safe and can freely ask questions and trust the answers.

How much does the course cost?

We have a National Lottery Grant to cover the basic costs of the course for 2026. Donations are always very welcome and help us improve our equipment and delivery.
